Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier

Originally founded by a couple of local businessmen, the pier has attracted visitors from far and wide for over 50 years. Located just a mile from the Beachside Hotel, the 800-foot Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier has a full day of fun for the whole family.

Your day of fun at the pier can start with numerous activities. No surfboard or fishing gear? No worries! The Pier has just the spots for you to rent out the necessary equipment and gear for you to hang ten and catch that big one!

When hunger and thirst start to crop up, have no fear! The pier has several restaurants and bars to rescue you. Once you’ve been satisfied, mosey on over to the shops where you can find the right memento to make those who missed out on this trip jealous. 

And if you’re looking for events and views, the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier has plenty to offer year-round, including the Easter Surf Contest which has been held annually in April since 1964. But, perhaps, most notable of the views at the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier is the view of rocket and shuttle launches from the nearby Kennedy Space Center.
