Rocket Launch Views

Cocoa Beach has had a fascination with rockets and space travel ever since 1963. That's why it's also called the Space Coast!

Explore must see attractions

If you are lucky enough to see a rocket launch while visiting, you may be able to grab a front-row seat to watch mankind shoot for the stars at the Kennedy Space Center. But, if you are unable to get there, you have several viewing spots throughout Cocoa Beach!

One of the best places to watch a rocket launch is at the world-famous Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier. With spectacular views, the pier is a perfect location to watch liftoff. For more information on the pier, you can read our article here!

An astronaut-leap away from the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier is Alan Shepard Park. Named for Alan Shepard, the first American in space, Alan Shepard Park is a beach park ideal for a day of fun while watching a rocket launch.

Sidney Fischer Park is a short moon rover ride away. Sidney Fischer Park offers a bit more space and amenities to enjoy the beach and watch rockets launch.

Lori Wilson Park is even further down the beach. Vacationing with man’s best friend? Lori Wilson Park has a designated dog park for you and your best furry friend to have fun while we shoot for the stars.

Thinking about staying grounded at the hotel? That’s not a problem. We have a balcony on the 6th floor where you can get a good view of the action.
